Brownfields
Strategic planning of commercial redevelopment and addressing the environmental issues associated with sites is critical for a successful Brownfield redevelopment. Through our experience, SM&E has established a reputation and working relationship with staff in the US EPA Region 4 Brownfields Program and the GA EPD Brownfields group. SM&E has the ability to understand Brownfield transactions from not only a technical stand point, but also from land development and regulatory perspectives. and State Brownfield grant and loan program applications. Liesch will

other funding mechanisms to assess and remediate contaminated sites
such as
those available to address petroleum and dry cleaners.

developers most appropriate for a specific project. Where
